Kochi Apr 26: Kochi Corporation is in the process of installing energy efficient street lights on selected stretches of roads. To begin with, LED lights will be installed on MG Road and Marine Drive. The corporation had invited tenders for the same and the process of selection is expected to be completed soon.

CPT unveils Willingdon Island redevelopment projects

KOCHI Mar 16: The Cochin Port Trust (CPT) has unveiled a plan to utilize its 385.82ha land on Willingdon Island for setting up various projects. In addition to the 40.9ha of land it had identified here for port side operations, CPT plans to set up a logistics park, a ship repair yard and a Free Trade Warehousing Zone (FTWZ) in another 104.07ha here.

Rs 65-cr JV set up for New CFS

KOCHI Mar 3: Infrastructures Kerala Ltd (INKEL), Bahrain-based VKL Group and resort chain Mfar Hotels & Resorts Ltd have formed a joint venture which will invest Rs 65 crore to develop a second Container Freight Station (CFS) at Vallarpadam International Container Transshipment Terminal (ICTT).
